Merger Integration in Action:

SITUATION

A Company made an acquisition and needed expert guidance to identify and realize synergies as the merged businesses became the second largest radio station owner with 244 stations in 47 markets, including 23 of the 25 top markets.

OUR ROLE

FTI was hired by the Company to partner with management to develop the integration plan for the two companies including identification and quantification of revenue, operational and cost synergy opportunities across all revenue streams, business functions and cost centers.

OUR IMPACT

FTI helped the Company capitalize on the merged companies’ increased scale and capabilities – in sports, news, music, podcasting, live events and digital – to drive meaningful growth and to compete more effectively with other media for a larger share of advertising dollars.
