ERP Optimization

SITUATION
A helicopter transport company identified major gaps in their Finance, HR, Supply Chain and Maintenance Operations during a restructuring effort. FTI was engaged to assess its ERP platforms and provide execution support for ERP optimization.

OUR ROLE
FTI performed rapid diagnostics of Finance, HR and Operation systems configurations and developed strategic roadmap & project plans for platforms implementation. FTI conducted a rapid ERP selection and developed solution architecture and data models for ERP, HR and MRO systems.

OUR IMPACT
FTI facilitated transition planning, with increased transparency and accountability into Finance, HR Operations and overall company performance and profitability as well as enhanced governance over technology led enterprise transformation.

Industry 4.0 in Action:

SITUATION
Opportunity to optimize production lines across multiple plants by reducing downtime. Downtime had been trending upward for the last 2 years. Due to the manual data capture processes that were in place, FTI’s client did not have timely and accurate data to help them identify the root cause of downtime which had become a barrier to process improvements to address the issue.

OUR ROLE
We assessed I4.0 readiness and helped develop the I4.0 strategy and uses cases by documenting operational processes, developing KPIs and identifying key data collections points in the process

OUR IMPACT
Once the proper data collection and controls had been put in place, FTI’s client realized significant improvements: a 61% improvement in Maintenance & Reliability, 57% improvement in Spoilage and an 85% improvement in labor. This would lead to $2.2m in savings in the first year.
